NEW SHOP 2

YES, WE RAN OUT OF SPACE. WITH THE EVER-EXPANDING NUMBER OF FABRIC BOLTS AND THE INCREASES IN THE NUMBERS OF QUILTING MACHINES AND THE NEED FOR MORE CLASSROOM SPACE - WE JUST COULDN'T DO IT IN THE ORIGINAL STORE. SO, BAYSIDE QUILTING² WAS BORN JUST A FEW BLOCKS AWAY TO ALLOW US TO GROW TO SERVE YOU BETTER.

We are still in the process of getting the shop just the way we want it in terms of signs and paint, etc. but here are a few pictures that will help you identify the shop when you're looking for it. First of all, the address of the new shop is 225 State Ave in Olympia. You can click here to see a map of its location. If you are approaching the shop on State Avenue, you will see the gray building on the southwest side of the corner of Franklin and State. It will look like this:

This is the front door of our new shop. As you continue west along State Avenue, right beyond the building you will find the parking lot where you can park. Just look up for this sign:

Parking is also available on the streets nearby and street parking is free after 5:00pm and on weekends. Once you're parked in the lot you'll need to come in and here's where you'll find our door:

One inside, you'll find a huge supply of inspiration, fabrics, books, notions and many other things. With the high ceilings we have lots of room to hang quilts, and we keep changing them. The fabric keeps moving around to make room for more that is coming in. Never a dull moment.

We also have sewing machines for sale, sewing cabinets, 2 classrooms with classes galore, and lots of other activities going on.

Directions:

From I-5 Southbound take Exit 105A, I-5 Northbound take Exit 105, both are for Capital and City Center. Go straight through the first stoplight and through the tunnel.

At the second stoplight, take a right on Capitol Way.

Head straight North on Capitol Way through 6 stoplights. Follow the signs for the Farmer’s Market.

The Original Bayside Quilting is 2 blocks beyond the last light (State Street) on your left, (just before the Phoenix Inn) at 317 Capitol Way North.

Now, to get to Bayside Quilting², take the next right on Thurston Avenue and go 2 blocks to Franklin Street. Take another right and go 2 blocks to State Avenue. Now turn right again onto State Avenue and you'll be right in front of the store. Go another 1/2 block and you can turn left into our parking lot!

NOTE: The address numbers get smaller as you go north on Capitol Way until you reach 4th Avenue, at which time they start increasing again on Capitol Way N.
